MY STORY
Bobby Sherrill Jr (also known professionally as Kid Jimi) is an American singer, songwriter, and Record Producer born and raised in Shady Grove, MD.
Growing up listening to Jimi Hendrix and Kid Cudi, Sherrill taught himself piano and guitar and began performing with bands in high school, after graduating he attended the Art Institute Of Washington in Arlington, VA where he learned how to produce and audio engineer as well
While interning at Indigo Studios in Bethesda, MD he began releasing free mixtapes and remaking free popular instrumentals on his YouTube channel. Some instrumentals went viral reaching over millions of views and used by popular artists like Chris Brown, Soulja Boi, Wacka Flocka, Lil Mama, Fabolous for freestyles in 2015
Today his YouTube has over 55K subscribers with daily uploads including originally composed beats, free instrumental remakes, covers of popular songs, and original songs
